Recent Musical Portraits of Me

I am not a musician, I am an artist and photographer. That being said, music plays a big role in my life. Thus the following photos are so meaningful to me.

My favorite musician is Billy Joel. I absolutely love Billy’s music and have been a huge fan since I bummed my Dad’s copy of An Innocent Man from him in 1983. I have seen him about a dozen times in concert, some solo and some during the tours with Elton Johm. When shooting models Hope and Olivia with Dr. Fishman’s baby grand I could not pass up the opportunity to pose at the piano with one of The Pianoman’s most successful and best albums.

My favorite band is Pink Floyd. As much as I love Billy Joel’s music, I love Pink Floyd just as much. I have about a dozen versions of the song Comfortably Numb saved on my computer. I had borrowed the vinyl copy of The Wall from my fellow photographer and friend Al for a photo shoot with Kristal earlier in the fall so before I returned the album to him I decided that I needed a photo with it as well.

I am an autistic artist and photographer who’s slowly working at peeling back the layers of life in order to open myself up to newer and more fluent creativity.
