My new book “Accepting That I’m Autistic” is in the process of being edited and will be ready for publishing sometime between May and June. The book is being self published through Amazon.

“Accepting That I’m Autistic is the personal story of how one person came to accept that he is autistic. Learning this helped him to live a happier, more fulfilling life. In doing so he learned to love himself.”

The book details many aspects of my life focusing around the fact that I did not know I was autistic until I was 41 years old. Thus it details the struggles which I have had in life and the challenges which being autistic without knowing I was brought to me. I discuss many of the elements of autism and how each one effected my life. I discuss the process of learning about and accepting my autism and how life changing this information was to me. For me personally, learning that I was autistic helped me to learn to accept and love myself. It helped me understand that there was a meaning behind all of my quirks and struggles. It helped me understand that God had actually intended for me to be the way I am. Iwas not simply the bad and unruly person that my parents have always made me out to be. God designed me and if I did not fit nicely into the world that was not my fault. It is not my short coming and I actually am a good person in spite of it all. It is my hope the book gives a message of hope to those who are autistic or who might have an autistic person in their life.
