Joy as an artist…

One of the greatest Joys you can get as an artist is to help another artist out in their work in such a way that they will never be able to repay you for what you have shown them, nor do you want them to ever repay you. While driving for Lyft just now I had a passenger who was an acting student who I recommended the book “Art and Fear” to. This book had been recommended to me by both my friends Nick and Rhoda and I found it very helpful in my own artistic growth. After I explained the premise of the book to my passenger he became very excited about reading the book because he understood what the book was dealing with. And in return it made me very happy to be able to share this information with this fellow artist and to encourage him in his work. There is nothing like sharing what has been shared with you, knowing that what you have shared will have a profound impact on the life of another artist.

I am an autistic artist and photographer who’s slowly working at peeling back the layers of life in order to open myself up to newer and more fluent creativity.
